Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is a famous American actor and producer who has been recognized for her outstanding performance in movies such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Piano, as well as The Incredibles. The film Piano won her several awards which included an Oscar. Her career in acting started with Broadway by performing in a range of Broadway and Off Broadway projects. The art of acting has been a constant love of life. In the fifth grade she was cast as Helen Keller in an original production. She was born deaf in the one ear after suffering from mumps but did not allow this handicap to hinder her determination to become an actor. In college she studied theatre as well as later moving from Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania to New York City in pursuit of her dream. Hunter came across Beth Henley by chance in the lift. They wrote together Broadway Crimes of the Heart. The play was Hunter's first acting debut. After that, she relocated to Los Angeles and tried to land film parts. In Swing Shift, she landed a role as a support. She has since appeared in a number of television series, films and films over the course of her 30-year career. Holly Hunter was awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star as well as the Women in Film Lucy Award.
